Brookside Landing

Vicki Oldaker is our April employee of the month.  She was born in Bend, Oregon on January 24^th, 1986.  She was the youngest of six children; she has three brothers and three sisters.  Her oldest brother is 26 years older than Vicki.  The age difference caused Vicki to only grow up with her sister Alyssa.  Vicki says her mother did a great job raising her siblings and her.  Vicki says her mom is a wonderful person.  Vicki’s father worked for the Forest Service and when Vicki was eight years old, her father was transferred to Yreka, California. 

Vicki attended a very small elementary school; it was a kindergarten through eighth all in one school.   Vicki was home schooled for all of high school.  Vicki says, “Home schooling was great”.  At age of seventeen Vicki and her family moved to beautiful Orofino.  Yreka was huge compared to Orofino, but Orofino has grown on her. 

Vicki has been with her boyfriend, Bobby for two years now.  Vicki loves her job at Brookside Landing; she thinks all the residents here are awesome and wonderful people.  She also likes all the employees.  Vicki says, “I have been blessed with the life that has been given to me, I couldn’t ask for anything better.”
